Greece clarifies pay-transparency calculations before the November start
An official Ministry circular explains how private employers should prepare for the 1 November 2026 commencement, including pay calculations and the short first reporting period.
What changed
The 7 October circular clarifies current fixed pay versus historical variable pay, workforce and agency-worker treatment, and reporting to the Greek Ombudsman. The first 150+ report covers 1 November–31 December 2026. A rolling 12 months for variable pay is optional.
What it means for employers
Prepare pay components, worker categories and headcount data now. Keep each employer's reporting responsibility separate and file the first 150+ report by 7 June 2027.
