Bulgaria draft does not mandate salary disclosure in job ads
A full-text review corrects the tracker’s recruitment rules: the filed Bulgarian bill requires initial-pay information but specifies no job-ad publication duty or disclosure deadline. KZD has called for extensive reworking; the bill remains proposed.
What changed
The tracker previously recorded mandatory job-ad salary publication and job-ad timing. Article 12(4) of the filed bill does not state either requirement. The review also confirms a two-month initial information deadline, 14-day clarification deadline and annual rights notice by 31 January. KZD’s 29 September opinion proposes changes, including new deadlines and sanctions, which are not part of the controlling bill.
What it means for employers
Prepare the proposed information and reporting workflows, while checking the final enacted text before activating duties. Treat KZD’s suggested deadlines, fines and later staging as recommendations.
