Lithuania publishes technical specification for 2027 SDUP pay-transparency filings
Sodra has published the official SDUP data-structure and JSON validation specification for Lithuania's staged pay-transparency reporting process. It clarifies the employee, job-group, working-time and payroll fields employers will need for the January 2027 data cycle, while the existing deadlines and thresholds remain unchanged.
What changed
The new SDUP specification turns the previously high-level employer data requirement into an exact technical data model. It requires employer/reporting-period data and, per employee, name, surname, sex, a permitted personal identifier, job-group number, work-time norm and regime, gross pay, additional gross pay and paid hours; birth date is conditionally required for some identifier combinations. Sodra also confirms that JSON is for system integration/file submissions, while manual employer-account filing remains available.
What it means for employers
Lithuanian employers should map these fields in payroll/HR systems now and decide whether to file manually or through integration. Integration and file-upload users can build against Sodra's published JSON validation rules ahead of the first January-2027 data submission in February 2027; the 28 February 2027 and later information/reporting milestones have not changed.
